This book is NOT a First Edition.
However it was printed with the same plates as the First Edition in either 1928 or 1929. Hence a very early reprint.

It is clean and crisp inside, no tears, in fact it is in good condition for its age. A few finger smudges on some pages. I have not altered the scans and they are the best likeness I can get to the original.


All pages are intact. The cover is thick with a few marks on the front as shown on the scan. There is slight wear at the cover corners.


This is a very rare book and is the nearest to a 'Ward Lock' First I have found.
